Pectolite (fine crystals) (ex Charlie Key Collection)

Item Description

This specimen hosts very well-formed, sharp, bladed to tabular, soft green colored Pectolite crystals on matrix. The largest crystal measures about 1.4 cm, which is pretty good for the species and the locality. This piece likely dates to the 1970s or early 1980s. A fine specimen for this famous mine. From the collection of Charlie Key. Charlie is one of the most prolific mineral dealers in the history of the business and is the namesake for two species: Keyite and Ludlockite.
