Item Description

Superb pectolites are synonymous with the Jeffrey Mine of Quebec, as superb serandites are synonymous with Mont. St-Hilaire. Pectolite is the calcium analogue of serandite and is a member of the wollastonite group of mineral species. This is a very rich and aesthetic solid jackstraw cluster of glassy, tabular, colorless blades. This is a classic and fine specimen from the Robert Nowakowski Collection.
