Item Description

A sculptural and very nifty looking specimen of shimmering, intergrown, radial sprays of pectolite needles from the famous Traprock quarries at Paterson, New Jersy. The needles have a beautiful pearlescent luster. Pectolite is a member of Wollastonite Group of silicate mineral species and is the calcium analogue of serandite. Classic and excellent older material from a museum collection.
