Item Description

The Jeffrey Mine is obviously well-known for its amazing Grossular and Vesuvianite specimens, but it doesn't get enough credit for providing colletors with some of the most attractive Pectolites in the world. The uncommon calcium analogue of Serandite is not often found with free-standing crystals, especially on matrix. This piece features sharp, prismatic, whitish crystals of Pectolite on matrix. The crystals have a mostly white color on the exterior, with a bit of silvery translucency inside. Some of the Pectolites have a silky / chatoyant appearance on the surface. If you've ever wanted a nice display specimen of Jeffrey Pectolite, don't miss out on this one.
