Item Description
Pectolite is a member of Wollastonite Group of silicate mineral species and is the calcium analogue of serandite. Superb serandites are synonymous with Mt. St-Hilaire, Quebec and superb pectolites are synonymous with the famous and now-closed Jeffrey Mine of Quebec. This showy jackstraw cluster of glassy, tabular, colorless blades has numerous crystals to about 1.0 cm of this mineral which rarely crystallizes in such 3-dimensional quality. Amazingly, for such dense coverage, this piece is essentially pristine. Seldom on the market in this quality and richness. Classic and excellent material.
