Item Description
A cool reference piece of the famous rare Parisite-(Ce) specimens from the Snowbird Mine in Montana. Several partial / crude crystals of dark golden-brown, pseudohexagonal Parisite-(Ce) measuring up to 2.0 cm long are sitting pinkish Feldspar matrix. These pieces came out circa 1955, and are VERY difficult to find on the market. From the worldwide collection of David Burgess (1951-2016). David was a prolific species collector from Newington, Connecticut, and the namesake for the extremely rare cobalt arsenate species Burgessite, which he discovered.
