Item Description

Here we have a wonderful little thumbnail sized specimen featuring an attractive and rarely seen doubly-terminated crystal of the rare-earth carbonate Parisite-(Ce) on an additional Parisite crystal from the famous Zagi Mt. locality in Pakistan. The sharp, well-formed, gemmy, dipyramidal, pseudohexagonal crystal of Parisite atop the piece measures about 6 mm, and has a rich golden-orange hue with good internal gemminess when backlit. Fine Parisite crystals such as this one are not common in the Zagi Mountain area, especially doubly-terminated examples on matrix.
