Famous Paraiba Blue tourmaline (elbaite with some copper content) is the rarest and most valuable tourmaline varietal in the world. This elegant, completely gemmy crystal has incredible, rich teal-blue color and a striking, fluted termination. It has trace copper only, yet has the olor of cuprian paraba. Although small, this is a gem crystal that gram for gram is very fine. 2.31 carats gem weight. Valued at $400.
