Item Description

A 1.2 cm, glassy, translucent pargasite crystal with startling neon-green color is aesthetically set on the marble matrix and accented with a smaller pargasite fragment. Pargasite is an uncommon very complex silicate species and is ususally a rather dull, unattractive, dark-colored rock-former. Such specimens were collected in the late 1990s to early 2000s, with none since. An excellent example of the species and locality.
