A sharp, medium emerald green, translucent, prismatic crystal of Pargasite (a calcic amphibole) on snow-white Calcite from the ruby (gem corundum) and spinel-bearing marble deposits of Vietnam. Well-formed Pargasite crystals are rare and this stunner of a crystal measures 2.9 x 1.6 x 0.7cm and is perched (by specimen preparation) atop a pedestal of calcite (marble).
