Item Description
A wonderful example of the rarely seen Pargasite specimens from Afghanistan. This area is best known for its Hauyne / Lazurite / Lapis specimens, but a few Pargasites made their way out of the marbles and on to the collector's market. This specimen came out of the ground about 5 years ago, and is one of the better matrix specimens I have offered in the auctions. The main crystal, which has an interesting golden straw color, measures 1.1 cm and has good luster with sharp faces sitting atop a matrix of contrasting white marble. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
