Item Description
Pargasite is an uncommon and unlikely looking amphibole group species. This pargasite is superb in every way. The 2.1 x 1.7 cm fairly large crystal has sharp, lustrous faces, gemmy clarity, intense apple-green color and is nicely set on matrix of contrasting marble. Next to the pargasite is a beautiful and starkly contrasting, gemmy, golden-amber, phlogopite plate. Very highly representative of the uncommon, very colorful species and locale.
