Item Description

A gorgeous specimen with a wonderful vug filled with deep forest green Paratacamite crystals to 2.5 mm or so, on matrix of sparkling Quartz plus soft blue-green Chrysocolla on matrix. Paratacamite is a rare copper zinc hydroxy halite, that is not often seen in well crystallized examples, but the crystals on this piece are very sharp and highly lustrous! An excellent example of this beautiful material from Peru.
