Item Description

Parabutlerite is a rare hydrated, iron sulfate and is the dimorph of bulterite. This very rich, two-sided miniature features one side with gemmy and lustrous, burnt-orange to honey-brown crystals, while the other side features oxidized, olive-green parabutlerite crystals. You very seldom see specimens from this obscure Iranian locale with both styles. Definitely older, exceptional and uncommon material. Ex John White Collection of Seattle.
