Papagoite (rare) in Quartz

Item Description

Papagoite is an ultra-rare calcium, copper silicate. This excellent miniature features a very rich dispersed cloud of striking, pretty powder-blue papagoite in the transparent to translucent, sharply terminated, complete all-around, quartz crystal. Two of the three termination faces are lightly frosted. A very trivial bit of termination and edge wear is noted. Prism faces are contacted, but there is no damage, per se. Classic, rare and highly desirable rich material. The former dealer label has a 2850 Rand price or $316 at current exchange rates.
