The famous Yaogangxian Mine of China has produced some excellent specimens and this dramatic and aesthetic combination piece certainly qualifies. A 3.5 cm wide, corsage-like ball of concentric growth, pagoda-style, flattened nail head calcite crystals is very jauntily perched near the termination of a sharp, very glassy, pseudo-hexagonal, milky quartz crystal.
