Item Description

This sparkling specimen is from an unusual find here in about 2010 and features a choice crystal of oyelite (1 cm) perched on matrix of calcite. Oyelite is one of those funny rare species that only occurs in a few places, and only in a few finds even here. Oyelite itself is a bit chalky and strange-looking, but the combination here works. it is actually beautiful overall. Rare material!
