Item Description
Not identified until 1984, Oyelite is an ultra rare hydrated borosilicate. Occuring in snow-white radial acicular tufts to .1 cm the Oyelites are attractively set on the two-sided crust, which is nearly covered with very sparkly, tiny, water-clear Calcites. There is also an unknown 4mm blocky crystal, possibly barite or calcite, that is completely covered with Oyelite. Excellent and rare combination material from the famous Nchwaning II Mine.
