Item Description
Orthoserpierite is a rare complex hydrated Ca-Cu-Zn-sulfate with a hydroxyl and is a member of the Develline Group. The species is RARE from this less well-known extinct Arizona Mo-Cu-Ag-Au-Pb-Zn-As-Sb-Bi open pit and underground mine with two breccia pipe orebodies (MINDAT). Colorful sky-blue orthoserpierite richly covers all sides of the very sculptural large matrix. Ex Bill Wilson Collection. We just obtained specimens from his collection and many are from Harvard. A must for the species or locality collector.
