Item Description
Valencianite is a unique variety of adularia (orthoclase) named after the famed Valenciana Mine at Guanajuato, Mexico. This very showy plate consisits of sharp, pearlescent, snow-white valencianite blades nicely accented with preferentially deposited small quartz and calcite crystals. The large valencianite blade is 2.7 cm on the diagonal. Classic and excellent older material from this famous mine. Ex Consie Prince Collection. Now rare on the market, these were found in the 80s
