Item Description
"Paradoxite" is a hydrothermal variety of Orthoclase, and the few pieces I've seen have all come from Germany. This piece features beautiful pink "veinlets" or "bands" of Paradoxite wedged into purple and green Fluorite. A really cool specimen of this attractive and very hard to find material, especially with this attractive pink color. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#6328). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
