Item Description

Intergrown, blocky, glassy and translucent orthoclase variety adularia crystals form a showy and excellent specimen from this less common Swiss locale. Some of the crystal faces have a preferential frosting of sparkly chlorite microcrystals. Adularia is rare from this locale. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection and comes with an Anton Berger label, well-known Austrian mineral dealers from the 1920s-1950s.
