Item Description

Mineral specimens are uncommon from this granite pegmatite district, mined for centuries for its feldspar for the local ceramic industry (MINDAT). This is a showy and excellent, slightly curved, 3-sided plate of intergrown, sharp, flesh-colored, simple orthoclase crystals. Complete all-around, with just a bit of scuffing.
