Item Description
Excellent cluster of bone-white Orthoclase crystals, from Sant'Ilario in Campo on the island of Elba. While there is contacting around the outer periphery, the presentation faces are pristine. They are glassy smooth with very good luster, and there are several gemmy Quartz crystals that are imbedded in the Feldspar and exposed at the surface. For size and quality, this is a superior Elba Orthoclase. These pieces are part of a century-old Italian collection that was recently acquired.
