Item Description

Some of the most iconic Feldspar crystals from any world locality are the famous Orthoclase specimens from Baveno, Italy. This locality was so prominent, that a specific twinning habit of Feldspar (Baveno twinning) was named after the locality. This piece is a fantastic, single crystal with wonderfully well-formed, smooth faces, a light cream colored appearance, and a pristine termination. There is one section on the back edge that is broken, but overall the piece is in fine condition, and a stellar example of these world-class crystals.
