Item Description
Most of the time, the Orthoclase crystals from this locality are "floater" crystals found in a weathered porphyritic granodiorite dike. This sharp, nearly textbook single shows great doubly-terminated form, but it is contacted on the back. A beautiful example of this well known Feldspar from Colorado.
