Intensely sparkly, supremely bright, juicy orange-red, ball-like clusters of extremely gemmy, euhedral orpiment crystals roll over onto both sides of this striking and colorful specimen from the El'brusskiy Mine of Russia. These orpiments are some of the finest you will find in the mineral kingdom! They are of a higher quality, in fact, than even the famous Nevada orpiments - only smaller. One side features golden-yellow crystals and a couple of small glassy, colorless barite blades are a fine compliment. The trivial bit of periphery wear with both broken ends are noted, but are certainly a very modest detraction to the overall impact of this striking and most colorful piece.
