Item Description
Rich burn-orange, lustrous, translucent, sharp Orpiment crystals strikingly fill an undulating vug in the sculptural triangular small cabinet matrix plate. The prisms reach about 1.2 cm. Quiruvilca Mine orpiments are a classic Peru species and are some of the finest examples in the world. A nearly pristine and most excellent example of the species and locale, with only trivial periphery wear. These came out in the 1970s to 1981, with very little since. A rich and showy example of the species and locale with multiple display views.
