An AESTHETIC and RICH cluster of extremely lustrous, golden-orange, gemmy orpiment crystals with chisel terminations on a sturdy, 3-dimensional, mounded matrix from the 2001 find at the famous Twin Creeks Gold Mine of Nevada. This gorgeous piece is from Cut 62 of the mine, one of the major producing areas. This FINE specimen is nearly pristine, with only contacting on the right side. Twin Creeks orpiment of this quality is comparable to any worldwide locality. Pieces of this quality only come from recycled collections. The value today is $600-800, at least.
