Orpiment, Baryte & Hubnerite (RARE combo)

Item Description

RARE and colorful large combination material from the famous Quiruvilca Mine. Hubnerite is VERY RARE from here. A couple of radial sprays of hubnerite blades altering to another sulfide are nicely set on the large plate covered with bright burnt-orange spherical aggregates of orpiment blades. The well-placed and sculptural central rosette is 2.2 cm across. Glassy, colorless barite blades dramatically rim the plate and are a stark and excellent contrast. More orpiment and barite on the back side of the rib is a bonus.
