The supremely bright and juicy orange-red hues of these striking El'brusskiy Mine orpiments are some of the finest you will find in the mineral kingdom! They form in sparkly, ball-like clusters, which, observed closely, are actually extremely gemmy, euhedral crystals stacked closely together - of a higher quality, in fact, than even the famous Nevada orpiments - only smaller. The bit of periphery wear is noted, but is certainly a very modest detraction to the overall impact of this striking piece. This cutie is solid orpiment and has multiple display views.
