Item Description
Tourmalines are beloved by dealers and collectors for their intense colors in various shades. Most often, Tourmalines are found in pink and green shades, and RARELY found in colors such and purple and orange. This stone is a "Step Trillion" cut gem with an incredibly hard to find, saturated ORANGE color. The stone has only the slighest of inclusions, which is not common for Tourmaline, as the gem is classified as a "Type-3" stone, and inclusions are accepted by dealers and collectors alike. A Tourmaline gem with this kind of color is certainly impressive, and this gem is valued high retail at $213.75. The stone would make for a very eye-catching piece of jewelry, or would make a great addition to any gem collection. The color in the stone is difficult to accurately reproduce in photos, but it is what I would consider a good orange hue, with virtually no hints of red or pink overtones.
