Item Description

Orange Prehnite is a rare occurance from Nchwaning. These blades cluster in a tight ball, with a few blades extending from the cluster. These show the gemmy nature of the Prehnites. Perhaps the outstanding feature of this specimen is the lustrous, pillow-shaped, 9.5 mm Hydroxyapophyllite crystal that sits on the Prehnite ball. It is perched perfectly above it, creating an unusal and very aesthetic thumbnail.
