Item Description

A highly sculptural CABINET specimen of connected intergrown balls of creedite and covered with gemmy, light-orange to brown to colorless crystals. This nifty piece looks like a poodle or sheep dog in two views and is nicely accented by 1.0 cm, etched, blue-green, fluorite crystal in the middle of the piece. Good creedites were rare and expensive from ANY locality, until these orange ones were found in Mexico. This is a beautiful and aesthetic specimen with very few broken crystals, for such a large piece. It is a near floater cluster of creedite, with only a few small points of attachment on the back and sides! This is a very showy, puffball-like cluster of creedite balls. STRIKING.
