Item Description

A striking CABINET specimen of a large pineapple-like ball of creedite with a small attached tail ball. It is covered with gemmy, light-orange to colorless crystals from the NEW find of August, 2009. The crystals reach 2.0 cm. Good creedites were rare and expensive from ANY locality, until these orange ones were found in Mexico. Suddenly, you could own a really fine creedite without selling your house to get it. This particular piece does have a few broken crystals scattered about, but is only a very modest detraction. The contacting on the base is out of sight. This is a very showy, puffball-like cluster of creedite crystals. The creedite crystals in this find are generally larger and gemmier, than earlier finds. STRIKING.
