Item Description

This impressive large cluster of intergrown creedite crystal balls is from the more recent 2009 finds. Scattered, glassy and gemmy, burnt-orange crystals, to about 1.7 cm, dramatically project upward from the balls. The underlying matrix includes small light sea-green fluorite cubes, that fluoresce purple. Some bruising and broken crystals are noted, but this remains a highly representative and sculptural large example of the species and locale and has multiple fine display possibilities. This locality may be extinct, as we have heard that the tunnel collapsed.
