Item Description

An excellent small cabinet creedite ball covered with large, gemmy, light-orange to colorless crystals from the recent August, 2009 find. Crystals reach 2.0 cm on this showy piece. Good creedites were rare and expensive from ANY locality, until these orange ones were found in Mexico. Suddenly, you could own a really fine creedite without selling your house to get it. This is a beautiful and aesthetic specimen with the broken crystals mostly concentrated at one spot on the back of the ball. The small attachment is on the bottom and another is at the calcite cluster on the side. This is a very showy, complete all-around puffball-like cluster of creedite crystals. The creedite crystals in this find are generally larger and gemmier, than earlier finds. STRIKING.
