Item Description
An impressive CABINET specimen of connected intergrown balls of creedite and covered with gemmy, light-orange to colorless crystals. This large piece is actually a two-sided flattened specimen, which is unusual for the find. Good creedites were rare and expensive from ANY locality, until these orange ones were found in Mexico. Suddenly, you could own a really fine creedite without selling your house to get it. Then, we heard that the mining was FINISHED, apparently for good. So if you do not have one, well, here is another chance. We were lucky enough to put some aside before the mining stopped. This is a beautiful and aesthetic specimen with very few broken crystals, for such a large piece. This is an EXCELLENT cluster of creedite, with only a few small points of attachment on the front, back and base! This is a very showy, puffball-like cluster of creedite balls. STRIKING.
