Item Description
A classic, symmetrical and beautiful opalized mollusc from the famous Coober Pedy Opal Field of South Australia. One side of this polished beauty has bright flashes of candy apple-blue, -green and subtle hints of orange, which really sets this distinctive fossil off. The other side is strikingly different, with a segmented interior with a few tiny golden flashes. Pristine. This is a very fine and above-average opalized mollusc from this well-known locale. It is visibly colorful and partially transparent. 76.01 carats or over 15 grams. Valued at $1250-1500. The front really glows with color and is MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
