Item Description
Wood opal specimens are very uncommon from this obscure Slovakia locale. This striking, highly lustrous two-sided section has gorgeous rich butterscotch color with fantastic dense wavy growth rings on both sides. The crenellated bark is clearly evident on one side of this very fine and rare example. From a Czech collection with a 1939 date. 132 grams mass.
