Item Description
Several years ago we started seeing some interesting and good sized examples of gem quality honey colored Opal coming out of Hungary I remember seeing similar gems years ago from Brazil, but these Hungarian stones are larger and have a richer color for the most part. This "oval cabochon" cut gem has a gorgeous honey/burnt orange hue, with good internal clarity. The stone looks more red in the photos than it does in person, so please keep this in mind when bidding. If you collect Opals, or you're simply a fan of gems from unusual locales, don't miss out on this one, as it's one of only a handful we have to offer. Priced at $$1,322.25 high retail.
