This piece is a beautiful example of this exciting Precious Opal replacing Petrified Wood from Java, Indonesia This piece features a small area of highly colorful Precious Opal which shows bright color flashes of red and blue-green set against the brownish-black Petrified Wood. The specimen is slightly polished / rounded to help the Opal shine. The Opal is best seen when viewed up close.
