Item Description

An attractive, recently mined piece of this exciting Precious Opal replacing Petrified Wood from the Java, Indonesia. This piece features pockets of Precious Opal which shows soft blue and vibrant green flashes in brownish-black Petrified Wood. The specimen is slightly polished / rounded to help the Opal shine. This piece came to us direct from a friend who travels directly to Indonesia to buy material. It's very worthwhile for collectors because it's not just a mineral specimen, nor a gem specimen nor a fossil, but a combination of all three.
