Rich, thick nodule of Opal from Ethiopia. The deep brownish-red Opal flashes with brilliant reds, oranges, and greens under just the right light. Naturally, much better in person. 8 grams. A superb thumbnail example of find. Valued $750-1000. Nodules of this quality are rare, especially for the red color. After all, it is valuable to the real world, so they get cut into little gems!
