A custom cut, classic gemstone from this historic locality. The rough for these stones came from an old collection and was purchased directly in Slovakia a few years ago. It is certainly one of the best quality Opals from this locality that I have seen in a long time. Dubnic, Slovakia is one of the oldest and most well known Opal localities in the world. Stones like this are very and far between on the market, and highly sought after by collectors of Opal. Custom faceted by Robert Heath with excellent gemminess and a unique "parallelogram" cut.
