Opal

Opal is known from hundreds of localities in all colors of the rainbow. Recently I obtained some attractive yellow precious/jelly Opal from Tanzania. The best of these stones have electric color and top transparency. This stone has a very nice yellow color and is what I would call a jelly Opal. The stone has a typical translucent appearance. The cut on the stone is an "Oval Cabochon" cut. This seems to have been a limited find, as I have not seen any other dealers offering either the rough or gems for sale on the market. Enjoy.
