Onegite (Amethyst included by Goethite)

Item Description

A cool crystal group of sharp, richly colored Amethyst which are included by thin prisms and botryoidal aggregates of Goethite from Jefferson County, Montana. This material is often referred to as Onegite, and this particular specimen is similar to pieces I have seen from the Crystal Creek area in Colorado. The piece is in decent shape on the display side, and when backlit, shows a beautiful mix of purple and golden color. A nice thumbnail specimen of this somewhat hard to find material.
