Olmiite with Oyelite

From old finds of the early 2000s, An impressive, large, 4.5 cm, segmented sandy-peach Olmiite ball is aesthetically perched atop the blocky manganese ore matrix on this very showy and sculptural combination from the famous Type Locality of Olmiite - the N'Chwaning II Mine. The ball rests on a dramatically contrasting field of bone-white, botryoidal Oyelite, a VERY RARE hydrated Borosilicate. The sparkly, translucent, orthorhombic olmiite crystals have a very nice orange-pink glow, when backlit. The ball itself, is pristine, and the contacts on the smaller olmiite crystal clusters are out-of-sight in the primary display view. Cherry-red SW UV fluorescence. Very showy, highly representative small cabinet matrix Olmiite with a large ball complemented with rare Oyelite.
