Item Description
An attractive cabinet sized specimen featuring dozens of sharp, lustrous, prismatic, soft pinkish-brown colored Olmiite crystals measuring up to 8 mm with minor scattered white crystals of the rare calcium silicate Bultfonteinite sitting atop matrix. A worthwhile and eye-catching specimen of two rare species from this world famous locality. For reference, virtually all of these specimens were labeled as being Poldervaartite when they first came out, but it turns out that the vast majority of them are actually Olmiite, making Poldervaartite an exceptionally rare species.
