Item Description

Olmiite specimens from the famous N'Chwaning II Mine are a classic and desirable species. This very fine and aesthetic miniature is from a brand NEW FIND from the aptly named Chocolate Pocket. A 3.4 cm sculptural oval "ball" of densely intergrown orthorhombic crystals is dramatically set on matrix with more olmiite and a striking, complimentary, 8 mm, gem calcite crystal. The lustrous, translucent olmiite has rich burnt-orange color, that really lights up, when the crystal is backlit. Complete all-around and nealy pristine. A bit bruising to the back of the termination area is out-of-sight in the primary display view. An oustanding, fascinating and colorful miniature from the New Find.
